The 1.25'' 15mm Super View 4 elements/3 groups, (65 degree field of view ) and 40mm plossl eyepiece (45 Degree FOV) have Edge-Blackened Optics and Advanced Fully Multi-Coated Optics. These combined steps in the manufacturing process result in better contrast. With Edge-Blackened Optics, reflection is eliminated. With the addition of the Advanced Fully Multi-Coating on these optics, you have an excellent made eyepiece. Sure rubber grip handling and rubber eyeguards that fold down for eyeglass wearers. Threaded to accept filters.
