Description

6 Inch Primary Parabolic Telescope Mirror Mounted for use as a Collimator This mirror was originally used in a holography optics lab as a collimator.   It is mounted on a 6" x 8" 3/16" black (painted) aluminum plate but can be easily removed to be used as a telescope mirror, simply by unscrewing 4 clip mounts.   It is an f/8 mirror (focal length 48.1 inches).   If used in an optics setup, the aluminum plate has two tapped holes with 1/4-20 threads that are 3 3/4" apart that can be used to secure it to an optical table mount. Note that this is not a new mirror, however it is in reasonable condition except for a couple of edge fingerprints and a few other tiny spots.  The fingerprints do not extend more than 3/8 " in from the edge and should be easy to clean.   It is hard to tell if several of the tiny spots on the mirror are easy to clean or not.   I haven't attempted it.   The mirror should be fine for a backup telescope, or for an inexpensive do-it-yourself project where you do not need a perfect new mirror.   If you are not satisfied, money cheerfully refunded if you notify me within 7 days of receipt, minus the shipping cost. I can ship either Parcel Post or Priority Mail.   Other shipping options are available upon request.   I can only ship within the US however. Feel free to ask questions - I will reply promptly.   Thanks !     Powered by eBay Turbo ListerThe free listing tool. List your items fast and easy and manage your active items.
