This is a great deal for anyone wanting the complete package! I purchased the 8†Meade LX 10 EMC Schmidt – Cassegrain (D=203mm, F=2000mm, f/10) as my first telescope and added numerous eyepieces, color filters, Telrad finder, tripod and Magellan I computer system to expand the standard accessories. The Meade LX 10 features stable fork mounting, DC electronic worm gear drive system, and hand controller. Standard accessories are as follows: 6 X 30 mm finder scope 25mm 1.25†eyepiece Diagonal prism Keypad hand controller Hex wrench set Extra accessories I purchased to the standard package include the following: Tripod Magellan I computer system with hand TeleVue 32mm Plossl 1.25†eyepiece Speers – Waler 10mm 1.25†eyepiece Orion color filter set (blue, green, red, yellow) Telrad reflex sight Meade 2x Barlow Accessory Case The Magellan I telescope computer system features fast 2-star alignment, 12,218 object database, and LCD display to help you locate and identify objects in the sky. I use the TeleVue 32mm Plossl eyepiece designed by Al Nagler with a 50 degree apparent field of view for viewing large areas of the night sky. Use the Antares Speers-Waler 10mm eyepiece to see detail features on the moon or deep sky objects. Always know where your telescope is pointing using the Telrad reflex sight. Also included is a case for the accessories. All of the above items are included with this deal. I’ll even include the batteries. The condition of the telescope and all accessories are excellent. The telescope has been covered and stored in a climate-controlled garage. This is a great deal for someone who wants to start observing now without having to buy a bunch of extras!
