Both are 68mm diameter high quality achromats to make a 90mm huge symmetrical plossl eyepiece. You could make this a 2.7", 3" or 4" diameter eyepiece for high end professional scopes or observatories. This type of eyepiece when finished can run from $100 to $1000, so you are getting a set that can be made into a very valuable eyepiece if you have a large scope and focuser. This can be made into a 2" eyepiece but it is not recommended. It really cuts down the field of view. So if you are good at making things with pvc, or aluminum to make a nice housing and barrel for these lenses, you could be on your way to a great eyepiece! Great for experimenters.
