The DVD is a Multimedia DVD for your computer (NOT for your TV or DVD player) and requires Microsoft Windows XP or Vista and Windows Media Player 10.0 or compatible. This course was derived from one of my classes where I lecture and use live demonstrations over four weekly three hour sessions. There is 6 hours of video tutorials that are geared toward the beginner with Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 and lead you step by step through the process of managing and editing your photos. When you finish this course you will have a solid understanding of how Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0 works and you will be able to start creating those images you will want to share with friends and relatives. Never again will you have to wonder where you stored that photo you took six months ago. With the Organizer feature you will learn how to import images into Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0’s Organizer. You will learn how to create multiple catalogs to help you keep track of and find those precious photos. Learn how to search and find photos with the Organizer’s Keyword and Tag feature. You will find out just how easy it is to make automatic adjustments on your photos. With the Organizer you will learn how to E-mail photos as attachments, create a Slide Show and discover many more ways to share your photos with friends and loved ones. With the Editor you will learn how to adjust color images automatically as well as manually enhance and correct may image problems. You will learn how to correct Red-Eyes in your photographs both automatically and manually. You will learn how to correct color problems due to lighting or improper white balance. You won’t have to delete those over or under exposed images because you will learn just how easy it is to make adjustments to exposure. You will also learn how to make multiple corrections to a photo that has several exposure problems. You will find out how easy it is to remove blemishes lines on portrait images to take years off someone’s appearance using the Healing Brush. Changing the color of a selected part of a photograph is easy with the Photoshop Elements Editor. You will be led step by step through a procedure to restoring old faded black and white as well as color photographs. Learn how to enhance the colors of those photos that just lack those vibrant color you saw when you took the picture using a combination of Layers Selections and Blend modes. One of the biggest problem in photography deals with how lenses distort images and make tall buildings lean in toward the center of the picture and how sometimes we just don’t realize we’re shooting photos that are on the level or slanted. You will learn how to correct these problems with the Transform tool and the Straighten tool. This Multimedia DVD is a must have for the beginning digital photographer or anyone who is new to Adobe Photoshop Elements 6.0.   Table of Contents Week 1 Course Overview Course design About the “Picture” Icons Suggested study Workflow Software and hardware requirements The Welcome Screen Navigation Icons The Organize screen The Edit Screen The Create Icon The Share Icon Let’s Get Started Installing the image files Creating a folder to store your work Creating a Catalog for your work images Importing your images to the My ABG Catalog Importing Photos from Your Camera Creating the “From Camera” catalog Importing Photos from your Camera Reviewing and Comparing Photos Importing Photos from Files and Folders Project 2 - Getting photos from specific locations Project 3 - Searching for photos to add Using the Create Feature Project 4 - Creating a greeting card Using Watched Folders Review Week 1 Week 2 Organizing and Sharing Using the Photo Browser View Different ways to use the Photo Browser View Project 1 - Changing the active catalog views The Organizer Date View Project 2 - Using the Year View Project 3 - Using the Month View Project 4 - Using the Day View Working with stacks Project 5 - Stacking Photos Working with Version Sets Project 6 - Version Sets Picture Packages Project 7 - Printing a Picture Package Removing Red Eye in the Photo Browser Project 8 - Removing Red eye in the Photo Browser Searching and Finding Photographs in the Organizer Project 9 - Finding Photos using Details and Metadata Categories, Sub-categories, and Tags Project 10 - Applying Tags to Photos Project 11 - Creating New Categories and sub-categories Project 12 - Applying and Editing Category Assignments Project 13 - Converting Tags and Categories Project 14 - Using the Instant Tag features Project 15 - Organizing your files Project 16 - Using Tags to Find Pictures Project 17 - Automatically Finding Faces for Tagging Project 18 - Using Smart Albums Project 19 - Using Photo Mail Project 20 - More Control Using E-mail Attachments Printing Your Photos Project 21 - Printing Photos Creating a Slide Show Project 22 - Making a Slide Show Project 23 - Panning and zooming in your slide show Project 24 - Adding special effects to your slide show Project 25 - Saving and Outputting your Slide Show Review Week 2 Week 3 Editing your Photos Adjusting Color in Images Project 1 - Fixing Photographs Automatically Project 2 - Using Quick Fix for Editing Project 3 - Using different methods of fixing Images Project 4 - Comparing the different Methods of fixing images Project 5 - Adjusting skin tones Project 6 - Correcting Red Eye Using Adjustment Layers and Selections to fix Photos Project 7 - Fixing an underexposed photo using Adjustment Layers Replacing a color in part of a Photograph Project 8 - Using the Replace Color feature Project 9 - Using the Replace Color on a Selected Area Review Week 3 Week 4 Repairing and Retouching Photos Oldies but still Goodies Project 1 - Repairing and old, faded Black & White photo Correcting color cast in a photo Project 2 - Repairing a faded color photo Healing lines and blemishes on photos Project 3 - Removing lines and blemishes with the Healing Brush Using Blend Modes Project 4 - Combining different blending modes in Layers Color Correction using Gray Point Project 5 - Using the Set Gray Point tool Making vivid landscapes Project 6 - Adjusting a landscape image with layers, selections and blend modes On The Level Project 7 - Straightening and aligning Vertical and Horizontal lines Review Week 4 Review Answers Week 1 Answers Week 2 Answers Week 3 Answers Week 4 Answers Index   Shipping: All items are shipped USPS Priority Mail within 3 business days Florida Residents: Please be aware there will be a 7% sales tax applied to all in state Florida purchases.            Return Policy: Like for Like exchanges only on DVD’s with in 30 days of purchase
