If you are bidding on this item or watching this auction, you probably already know what a unique film Agfa Ultra 100 is. If you are not familiar with it, you can do a search on the Web and find out all about it. The commercial retail supply of this exquisite color print film is now exhausted, it is no longer produced, and it is very hard to find anywhere now. If you still do creative 35mm film photography like I do, and need a very specialized film for brightly colored subjects or landscapes, this is it! (I never waste this rare film for "ordinary" use.) This special 10-day RESERVE auction is for 10 ROLLS of AGFA 36-exposure ULTRA 100 35mm color film, which I purchased in 2006. The boxes are Agfa factory sealed and in mint condition. It is ISO 100, Process C-41 for color prints, "DXn" coded, manufactured in Germany. The expiration date on 8 of the 10 rolls is "04/2008" and the emulsion number for these is 1183. The other 2 rolls have an expiration date of "09/2007" and the emulsion number for these is 1182. All rolls have been frozen at 22 degrees F. since I purchased it in 2006. I am selling only a small portion of the refrigerated stock of this film that I have--I keep most of it frozen at 22 degrees F., like these rolls I am selling here. (I have taken them out of my freezer only long enough to photograph them for this listing.) I am selling this film because I need to make room in the freezer for some other rare films I have acquired--otherwise I would not part with it! I generally do not place a reserve on my auctions, but this is an exception due to the rarity and high value of this fine film. I have described this film lot to the best of my ability and certify its high quality, but this sale is final and no return will be accepted.
