Hello! Thanks for checking out this listing. A couple years ago I purchased some darkroom equipment and built a darkroom in my basement. About 6 months later I switched to digital. I've since moved and have no intention of setting up another darkroom, so it's time to sell! This item is a Beseler 45MX II Darkroom Enlarger. I'm really not sure how old it is, I bought it used. It's a well loved enlarger, and it still works. Comes with Rodenstock Rodagon 1:2.8 50mm lens and lens board. The MX series of enlargers have a motorized chassis and can do up to a 16x20" print. The light source is a Beseler 45 condenser and takes 6.5x6.5" filters. Beseler's site claims that the great Ansel Adams used on of the 45MX series to print!
