Made in JAPAN. The picture is of the actual item that the winner will receive. This lens works with ALL Canon EF Mount EOS DIGITAL as well as FILM CAMERAS. The optics (both front and rear) are in EXCELLENT condition. I test all my items prior to listing them here. I have tested this lens on my Canon Rebel XT 350D and Canon 20D Digital Cameras as well as Canon EOS1V and EOS 3 film cameras, and has given excellent results. This is one of the SUPERIOR QUALITY CANON TELE-ZOOM LENS: EXCELLENT FOR ALL KINDS OF PHOTOGRAPHY. FYI, I have included here couple of pictures of a funky looking 3 wheels car and beautiful flowers taken with this lens with Canon Rebel XT digital camera.
