Up for bids is a Cartoni Alfa II head. It fits a 100mm bowl. Has the pan lock, pan fluid control, tilt lock, tilt fluid control, and the counter-balance on/off switch. The rosettes, for attaching arms, are in great shape, with no damage or stripping of the threads. This head is about 12 to 15 years old. The hydraulic chambers don’t hold their pressure as well as they did when this is new. If you put arms on this & pan back and forth, after about 30 seconds you’ll feel the pressure give a bit, to where you no longer have the resistance you desire for smooth pans. I’ve sold off the plate & arms from this head separately, so I have none to offer. I’m offering this with the intention someone could use it for parts, & I’ve priced it accordingly. Of course what you do with it is up to you. In case it isn’t clear by now, this is sold as is. It is a tad heavy, so the shipping calculation will reflect that.
