Vintage Kodak Darkroom Safelight fixture. Can be used in a wall socket or from a drop-cord socket. Accepts a circular 5-½" filter (not included). Sturdy metal construction with pebbled gray finish. Filter is held in position in the lamp base by a molded locking ring. Uses a 15-watt bulb (not included). I don't have the provenence but it was indeed used in the Time-Life Photo Lab. The original lab was dismantled in 2001 and many items were thrown away. I rescued this one. Kind of a nice feeling though that it was used in such a place for such great work and for so long. Probably from about 1960. In good condition but sold as-is. Same model can be found online from 20 to 80 dollars.
