The DSI is a great entry level camera. It's big problem, NO COOLING!! Without cooling thermal noise is in the image. So you have to do shorter exposures and dark frames. By adding cooling you can take longer exposures as the cooling gets rid of 98% of the noise from the camera. You don't even need to take dark frames with a cooled camera. Save time and have much better images. This is an easy to install kit that adds a Peltier TEC (thermal Electric Cooling) to your DSI. Any model, B&W or color. Takes temp down -15 to -20C from abient. Full install instructions included. Parts included, small TEC(peltier) , aluminum spacer, optical window(for some models), foam gasket, thermal grease, fan, power socket and power supply. We can do all the work for you for $20 more which includes the cost of shipping your camera back. For this option 1st buy and then at check out ask us to add this option.
