With the external battery compartment that comes with the package, an extra of 6 AA batteries or 3 CR-V3 batteries could be taken as well. An IR control MINIR 2B is included for you. The timer has beeper sound to remind you how many seconds has passed. You can rely on your eyes as well as your ears when taking pictures now. The vertical shutter supports auto-focus and shutter in Bulb mode. Installation is simple. Make sure that the camera is OFF before installation. Remove the BLS-1 battery from the camera; Remove the battery compartment cover of the camera and store it in the battery grip; Insert BLS-1 batteries and lock the compartment; Insert AA/CR-V3 batteries into the external battery compartment; Connect the external battery compartment to the battery grip with the AC power cable provided. Once the installation is complete, you can use the battery grip to take as many pictures as you wish. At the bottom of the grip there is a tripod jack for fixing it with the E-420 / E-410 / E-400 on a tripod. It comes with a detailed English instruction manual showing you how to install it on the E-420 / E-410 / E-400. With this battery grip, long hour shooting is no longer a burden!
