Description

Prescysol  'EF' - The ideal stablemate to Prescysol and designed for those photographers who make large prints.  Prescysol 'EF' (for 'Extra Fine Grain', is  a very tolerant, easy-to-use compensating developer specially formulated to hold back development in the highlights to prevent burning-out, whilst simultaneously allowing shadow detail to build. Grain structure is extremely fine, such that a 400 ISO negative can show finer grain than a 100 ISO negative developed normally and makes 35mm film as fine-grained and sharp as medium format! Prescysol 'EF'produces a gentle, brownish stain in the negative which, if printing traditionally, acts as continously variable density across the negative range. If scanning, scan in RGB and convert to monochrome in Photoshop to give a greater, smoother range of tones. SUFFICIENT TO DEVELOP 33 ROLLS OF 35MM FILM OR 40 ROLLS OF 120 IF THE 120 IS LOADED TWO TO A SPIRAL. Full instructions supplied. Please check out our other fine products.
