You are bidding on what appears to me to be an OPEN BOX New Sony DPP-SV55 3.8 Mega Pixel Digital Photo Printer Station. This item was purchased off of a gentleman that i don't believe ever used it after he purchased it. This printer dock is rated as one of the best out there and still sells for over $300 on the net. I have also gotten you some nice specs and good description about what this device is all about output wise. Don't let yourself get one of the cheaper ones on here that are used and are not really intact. This item was not offered internationally due to it heavy weight. Full Review: Sony Digital Photo SV55 Thermal Printer This is got to be the Best digital photo printer on the market today for the average consumer. A friend of mine bought one and wanted me to check it out. I was amazed at the quality of the prints, they are as close to a developed 35mm photo can be. This printer not only prints in brilliant colors, it also places a clear seal over the photo for better protection. This produces life like photos. The beauty of this printer is you do not need a computer to view and print your photos. Yes this printer is made to hookup to a computer but you can also use it without one. The printer is 9 ½ inches wide, 10 ½ inches in length and 2 13/16 in height. Three ways to Print your Photo! You can connect the Sony DPP-SV55 to a TV with a Composite Video Input to view your photos for # 1 & # 2. # 1 You can insert a Memory Stick in the upper left of the printer, there is a slot labeled memory stick. You can print from the Memory Stick or load images onto it. # 2 Right below the Memory Stick slot is a slot for a PC Card. (An optional PC Card adapter is available so you could use Smart Media and other types of Compact Flash Cards.) # 3 Your Computer for the PC or Macintosh. Computer Requirements For the PC and Macintosh A Free USB Port RAM of 32 MB and 64 MB is recommended 50 MB of free hard drive space CD-ROM or DVD-ROM for software installation. The PC CPU of Pentium 200 MHz or better Windows 98 and ME The Macintosh Mac OS 8.5.1, 8.6 or 9.0 Features Auto Fine Print Function can be set on or off. It is used to make those dark photos print lighter and crystal clear. A built-in clock to print the time on your photos and to record the time they were saved on the Memory Stick or PC Card. Calendar Printing is for your own custom one-months calendars from your photos. Card Printing helps turn your photos into greeting cards. It is easy to learn how to use and the photos it produces are brilliant! The colors are rich and colorful and it will print all the way to the edges like a regular photo. You can customize your photos and have some fun with them. It takes between one to two minutes to print a 4†x 6†photo. The only drawback I see in it is the cost of the photos. You have to buy a package of photo paper and a print cartridge together. Twenty-five sheets of 4†x6†photo paper and a cartridge made to print only 25 prints cost about $20. But if you want dazzling photos then this is the printer for you. Also finding the paper and cartridge kits locally can be a problem, there are places on the Internet that will save you the hunting. This printer is great as a second printer to print digital photos with.
