Super 16mm converted Bolex EL Bayonet Camera by Les Bosher (United Kingdom). The advantages of Super 16 include larger frame than conventional 16mm for knock out quality transfers to DVD. Plus the format uses the previous "dead" area of what was the sound track on older optical/magnetic film for a wide-screen picture area. Cameras use only single perf film, all film manufacturers are phasing out or have phased out older double perf camera stock. This camera comes with a like new Pelican travel case. A 16-100 mm POE lens (auto zoom motor does NOT work) exposure system works. A like new Bescor 12 volt battery w/110AC charger. Also included is a bayonet to "C" mount adapter, and a Series #9 #85B filter. The camera was recently checked by Procam and has their service sticker inside the body. Lens is clean, no fungus few tiny mars to the paint on exterior but glass looks very good. Body is in excellent condition. I would rate whole system at 8 1/2 to 9 1/2. Check out the Bolex site in Switzerland. Their camera bodies alone converted to Super 16 are going for $4000 USD or more (body only). This is not a Bolex conversion Les Bosher is a very respected camera house in Britan. The reserve price I have is low for this rig. I am including free shipping to USA.
