Four(4) piece boresight kit for the TRAID model no. KB3A 16mm motion picture camera.This kit is in very good condition. It was used very little. Cosmetically,there are a few very minor scrapes and scratches in the paint of the exterior surface of the components. This kit was last used by this seller,with the KB3A camera, to obtain combat strike footage in 1969 in Vietnam of ordnance impacts on ground targets. The camera,boresighted to look over the pilot's right shoulder through the windshield, was mounted on the back of the pilot's seat in a United States Marine Corps (USMC) OV-10A "BRONCO" aircraft belonging to Marine Observation Squadron Two (VMO-2). This kit has been stored in a dust-proof and moisture- free environment since last used. The prism,ground glass and optics are clean and clear. The boresight kit comes with the hard protective case and is fitted inside with foam inserts. This auction is for EXACTLY what is seen in the photographs. Shipping charge stated for this item IS NOT just for the face value of the USPS postage. Above shipping charge includes nominal fee charged by an independent courier service for pick up from my remote storage facility and delivery to Columbus,Ohio airport (CMH). I DO NOT charge a handling and/or packing fee. Buyer has three days to inspect item for money back. Will refund money in full,minus shipping cost,only if item has not been described accurately.
