They claim it has a 300% larger screen. These are cheap flimsy units that you can purchase a similar type made by SIMA as shown in my ME page. Our items are WELL packed so as to insure a safe delivery. Everything is double-boxed. These normally weigh in excess of 10-12lbs especially with many of the extras we try to include for you. Yes it is good for Skype because it was deigned to be used on your computer NOT your video transfer device as ALL of these devices require a dual jack microphone to give you true stereo, where with he ones they are selling you will only get mono and that is the reason they so conveniently cut the picture so you can see the connections.
