Thomas Duplex Super SafelightHere we have a excellent+ condition, Thomas Duplex safelight. It has been turned on but I don't think it was ever really used. Yes, the bulb is there, and yes I fired it up and it works great (otherwise it wouldn't be excellent+). It includes the yellow and black taped filters for B&W paper and Ortho Processing (DUB). The filters look unused. No discoloration, etc. The bulb is 35W, 120V . All the chains are included as well as the original box, packing material, and instructions.If you're looking at this you probably already know all about it but just in case you don't...The Thomas Duplex safelight uses a sodium vapor bulb that transmits light in a very narrow band. Along with the included filters, it only emits light in the "safe" region for B&W papers. It puts out a lot of light. The light intensity can be varied by means of the adjustable vanes you see on top of the unit. It is best used hanging from the ceiling in the middle of the darkroom with the light bouncing off the ceiling.These are still sold new at the NYC photo stores for ~$310.Shipping by UPS ground insured to USA addresses only.PayPal is preferred but I'll only ship to a CONFIRMED PayPal address.
